Friends of DuPont Forest will sponsor Tour de Falls, a 12 mile tour by shuttle bus
to four spectacular sites in DuPont State Recreational Forest: Triple Falls, High
Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Lake Julia. Shuttle buses will leave the parking
area approximately every 30 minutes from 9 am until 2:30 pm. Triple Falls
and High Falls have covered shelters with picnic tables.

Free Summer Music – Flat Rock, NC

This free outdoor concert is presented by the Flat Rock Merchants Association with event sponsorship help. The concerts will be held in Flat Rock on Little Rainbow Row’s back deck (behind the colorful shops at the corner of Greenville Highway and West Blue Ridge Road) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Concerts are held on the first Saturday of the month May through October.

This is a casual, family oriented, bring-your-lawn-chair, outdoor event, weather permitting. Great food and beverages will be available from series sponsors Flat Rock Village Bakery (pizzas) and Hubba Hubba Smokehouse (BBQ).
